Firewall Config Viewer

View firewall configurations

Open a Palo Alto Networks running-config.xml, a named configuration snapshot or a Panorama export, or a FortiGate configuration backup (.conf), to browse policies, objects, network and device settings.

Drop configuration files here (PAN-OS XML or FortiOS .conf) or click to choose. Several files (e.g. one per site) can be loaded together.
The file is parsed in your browser. Nothing is uploaded or stored.
Try a sample:

Policies

PAN-OS rulebases with Panorama pre/post and inherited rules, FortiOS firewall, local-in, central SNAT and other policy tables, IP lookup and object tooltips.

Objects

Addresses, groups, services, VIPs, IP pools, applications, tags, internet services and profiles, with where-used and unused detection.

Network & device

Interfaces with zones, VLANs and routers, static and policy routes, SD-WAN, BGP, IPsec, DHCP, admins, server profiles and certificate expiry.

Config explorer

Browse and search the full tree, then copy the XPath / set commands (PAN-OS) or the CLI block (FortiOS) for any node.

Network plan

Topology diagram and addressing plan generated from interfaces, zones, routes, BGP and VPNs. Export as SVG, PNG, CSV or PDF.

Converters

Wizards for PAN-OS → FortiOS, FortiOS → FortiOS (hardware refresh / upgrade) and FortiOS → PAN-OS, with a report of everything that needs manual work.

How to export: PAN-OS Device › Setup › Operations › Export named configuration snapshot (firewall or Panorama) or scp export configuration. FortiGate System › Configuration › Backup (without encryption) or execute backup config.
